Facebook introduced New Privacy Settings

    As the Christmas is getting closer and closer, Facebook has introduced new privacy settings. Let's get into the detail of it.

  When you log in to the Facebook, you will see a new icon near Home button, which you have never seen before in Facebook. You can see that in the screenshot below.

   When you click that icon you will get option menu as below.

  What is the use of it. That may be your next question. Yes, it is useful to protect your privacy in many ways. Let's see what they are.

1) Who can see my Stuff ? That the first option. Just click it to make sure that with whom you want to share your updates.

Who can see my Future Posts? Here you can select Public, Friends, Only me or even you can customize it.

Then you can view your timeline as how others would view. When you Go to your Profile you will see a bar above your cover photo. Here is a screenshot of it.  

  
 2) The next option is Who can Contact me?

        Choose the option that suits you.Who can send me friends request? You can choose Everyone or friends of friends.

 3) The third one is the most important one and very useful one for all the Facebook users. 

How do I stop someone from bothering me ? Just add their Facebook name or their email id.
